In order to keep your vacuum cleaner performing beautifully, it is essential to maintain it. Don't wait, for example, for your bag to fill to bursting before changing it. Also check that you clean the HEPA filters and then change them about every 6 to 12 months (depends on the model). To finish off, regularly remove the dirt that accumulates on your vacuum cleaner's brush (hair, threads, dust, etc.).

It can happen that parts of your vacuum cleaner wear out with use. If your appliance won't switch on any more, you may want to check the state of the roller and power cable. If it's not sucking anything up any more, the bag may be full, the hose may be clogged or the motor might have broken down due to sucking up too many fine particles (plaster, cement, etc.).
