Where to find the model name/number on your appliance

To find the right spare part using our search engine, you need to know your appliance's model name/number, and sometimes its serial number.

You can find this information on the data plate (or sticker) on your equipment, next to where it says 'Model', 'Model no.', 'Serial no.', 'PNR', 'PNC', 'E-Nr', etc. (the information varies from one brand to the next).

The location of the data plate also varies from one appliance to the next.

LARGE DOMESTIC APPLIANCES

WATER HEATERS

The data plate is normally on the underside of the water heater, behind the safety cover. It may also be on the outside of the tank. Look for where it says 'MODEL'or 'TYPE', or 'CODE' or 'PN'.

AIR CONDITIONERS

The data plate is normally located on either the side of the outdoor unit or the side of the indoor unit. Look for where it says 'MODEL'or 'TYPE', or 'CODE' or 'PN'.

MICROWAVE OVENS

The data plate is normally inside the door opening on microwave ovens, on the door frame. It can also sometimes be located on the outer casing (on the back or on the side). Look for where it says 'MODEL'or 'TYPE', or 'CODE' or 'PN'.

OVENS

The data plate on cookers is normally inside the door opening on ovens (underneath the upper panel or on the door frame). It can also sometimes be located on the oven's outer casing (on the back or on the side). Look for where it says 'MODEL'or 'TYPE', or 'CODE' or 'PN'.

COOKERS

The data plate is normally inside the door opening on cookers (underneath the upper front panel or on the door frame). It may also sometimes be in the drawer underneath the door. Look for where it says 'MODEL'or 'TYPE', or 'CODE' or 'PN'.

COOKER EXTRACTOR HOODS

The data plate will usually be on the underside of the cooker hood, behind the grease filter. Look for where it says 'MODEL'or 'TYPE', or 'CODE' or 'PN'.

WASHING MACHINES

The data plate is normally inside the door opening on washing machines, or on the door itself. It may also be behind the bottom front panel, behind the filter access door, or on the back of the appliance. Look for where it says 'MODEL'or 'TYPE', or 'CODE' or 'PN'.

DISH WASHERS

The data plate is normally in the door opening on dish washers (either on the chassis or on the door itself). It may also be on the back of the appliance. Look for where it says 'MODEL'or 'TYPE', or 'CODE' or 'PN'.

HOBS

The data plate will usually be on the underside of the hob. You'll probably be able to access it from below, or you may need to take the hob out to get to it. Look for where it says 'MODEL'or 'TYPE', or 'CODE' or 'PN'.

FRIDGE-FREEZERS

The data plate will usually be located on the fridge's interior, near the vegetable drawer. It may also be on the back of the appliance. Look for where it says 'MODEL'or 'TYPE', or 'CODE' or 'PN'.

TUMBLE DRYERS

The data plate is normally inside the door opening on tumble dryers, or on the door itself. It may also be behind the bottom front panel or on the back of the appliance. Look for where it says 'MODEL'or 'TYPE', or 'CODE' or 'PN'.

SMALL DOMESTIC APPLIANCES

VACUUM CLEANERS

The data plate is normally on the underside on vacuum cleaners, or on the back. Look for where it says 'MODEL'or 'TYPE', or 'CODE' or 'PN'.

HANDHELD AND STICK VACUUM CLEANERS

The data plate will usually be on the back on stick vacuum cleaners. Look for where it says 'MODEL'or 'TYPE', or 'CODE' or 'PN'.

KETTLES / WATER FILTER JUGS

The data plate is normally on the underside of kettles and water filter jugs. Look for where it says 'MODEL'or 'TYPE', or 'CODE' or 'PN'.

ESPRESSO COFFEE MACHINES

The data plate is normally on the underside on coffee makers. Depending on the model, it may also be on the back. Look for where it says 'MODEL'or 'TYPE', or 'CODE' or 'PN'.

STEAM GENERATOR IRONS – STEAM IRONS

On steam irons, the data plate is normally on the base, or on the bottom of the water tank, if the appliance is equipped with one. Look for where it says 'MODEL'or 'TYPE', or 'CODE' or 'PN'.

The data plate is normally located on the underside on food steamers. Look for where it says 'MODEL'or 'TYPE', or 'CODE' or 'PN'.

WAFFLE IRONS – SANDWICH TOASTERS

The data plate is normally on the underside on waffle irons and sandwich toasters. It may also be on the side. Look for where it says 'MODEL'or 'TYPE', or 'CODE' or 'PN'.

FOOD PROCESSORS

The data plate is normally located on the underside on food processors. Depending on the model, it may also be on the back. Look for where it says 'MODEL'or 'TYPE', or 'CODE' or 'PN'.
