The bread machine makes the meter trip, what to do?
Are you eagerly anticipating the delicious homemade bread … but suddenly, your bread machine plays a nasty trick on you by tripping your electrical system? What’s going on? Let’s explore the components together to check and identify the culprit that’s trying to take the bread out of your mouth.
THE POSSIBLE CAUSES FOR THIS FAULT:

It is essential to clean the bread machine after each use to limit the risk of breakdown. Flour residue or grain can get stuck in it and cause damage to the appliance.
The heating element is defective
The coil is the heating element of your appliance. If it is grounded, it can cause your appliance to trip the circuit breaker. To check this, you need to disassemble the machine and test the coil. Use a multimeter set to the ohmmeter position if it is self-calibrating, or to 20 megaohms if it is not. Disconnect the lugs from the resistor and place one probe on a terminal and the other on the ground terminal. If no value is displayed, the heating element is functional. However, if you get a very high value, it indicates a defect, and the heating element will need to be replaced.

The engine is not functioning
Just like the previous part, the engine may have a defect. In this case, it will cause the electricity meter to disconnect. The test will be identical to the one for the heating coil above: disconnect the motor and calibrate the tester to the 20 megaohm position. Now put one tip on one of the engine terminals and the other on the ground terminal. If the multimeter shows a high reading, it means that the motor is grounded and that it will have to be changed.

The wiring is damaged
Finally, a simple damaged electrical wire or cable (cut or worn) can cause the circuit to break when touching the housing of the bread machine. In this situation, you can attempt to repair the affected cable yourself.
